Milwaukee School of Engineering vs University of Wisconsin La Crosse
I had the pleasure of photographing the Milwaukee School of Engineering woman’s soccer game on Saturday, October 21st against the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. It was an awful, windy, rainy day to be playing soccer but both teams were up to the task. For a non-conference game that had no relevance to their playoff aspirations, MSOE played with pride, honor, and a mental toughness that was admirable. The final score was 2 -4. Even with the loss MSOE finished their season NACC regular season champions with an 8-1 conference record.
MSOE’s stadium is built on top of a parking garage. It is a beautiful field and ingenious because the campus is located downtown Milwaukee where space is a premium. But who would expect anything less form one of the top engineering schools in the country. I look forward to photographing them again, maybe on a sunnier day! Here’s a few of the photographs that I took, and you can see the rest on my website: More Photographs http://chriscourselle.com/p674954106.
